Greg’s Travel Tip: Consider renting a car to get to the airport. Uber and Lyft are not always reliable and may be more expensive.

Our family often flies on early morning flights. We once missed a flight because we planned on Ubering to the airport but could not get a ride that early.

For our upcoming flight we explored using Uber Reserve. It is not cost-effective. We are saving money by renting a mini-van the night before our flight and simply “returning” it to the airport the next morning. Not only is this more affordable but it will let us pack the van the night before and remove that early morning stress.

Where you stay and why you stay there matter. Ethical travel can enhance your vacation, particularly if you are traveling to places that emphasize community such as Hawaii or the Pacific Northwest.

Personally, I’d rather stay at a resort like Suncadia. If a private home is a mus then consider resort communities like Sunriver, Oregon!

Want to plan the ultimate Star Wars vacation? It’s time to visit California. Sure, start at Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland but there is so much more:

The Mos Eisley cantina has been recreated in Los Angeles. Then head up the beautiful coast to the Bay Area. The world’s largest Star Wars museum is in California’s wine country. Speaking of wine, did you know you can visit Skywalker Ranch if you’re a member of its wine club? And you mine as well take a selfie with the Yoda statue at Lucasfilm.

A Disney World trip requires planning. Why use a Travel Advisor? Because dining reservations become available 60 days before your trip at 2:45 AM on the west coast. I was up this morning to snag reservations for all the must do restaurants.

Space 220? Check!
Oga’s Cantina? Check!
Cinderella’s Royal Table? Yup!
Jungle Canteen? Did it!

Think you can ignore the window and go there day of? Nope, it’s likely not going to happen. That’s the advantage of using a TA to plan your WDW trip. And what does it cost you? Nothing! Disney pays me to do it for you!
