As the old saying goes, “That’s All, Folks!”
After 4 1/2 years (and 372 turnovers 🤪) is closing mid-November. We are so thankful for our wonderful guests, who have made this endeavor such a positive and fun experience! We still have some nights available in October and November, so come stay a night in Vega, Texas and ! 🤠⛽️

Well, isn’t this interesting? 🤔 👩‍⚕️ ⛽️

The restrooms on Old Route 66 when we were kids in the early 1950s could be questionable on a regular basis. At some point, the better run gas companies started advertising that they had clean restrooms. Here is what Phillips 66 put out as an advertising photo showing that they had women nurses that inspected a Phillip 66 service station and then award them their certified clean restrooms sign if all was OK.
