Name something better than family time at sea….go on, I’ll wait…🤭

I was super excited when my clients came to me looking for the perfect ship and sailing for the ultimate family cruise experience.

It took some time to make a final choice, but here’s where we landed:

Next summer, they’ll be boarding a Disney cruise in the Mediterranean.

The ship is an absolute perfect fit with endless activities for the kids and spots for adults to unwind while kids play.

And my favorite part?

Let's Talk Food and Drink!!!

Paris is not the culinary capital of France, it's actually Lyon and that travels into this southern region of France where local flavors and wine mix!

From Nice, Aix en Provence, Avignon, and other towns there are SO MANY options for wine tasting and tours: vineyards, countryside and wine tours, estates and wine tour, food and wine tours through villages and towns, even wine tours in a motorbike side car!!! It's all possible here!

And for food...This is the dream-- truffle hunting, learning about how dogs are trained to find them and having truffle accented snacks, to pastry and bakery tours for chocolate, breads, tarte au citron, and local handmade ice cream (try the lavender, it's life changing), or street food tours in Nice, trying onion tarts, Menton olive oil, Avignon's Provençal cuisine, lavender or anise biscuits.

This week I’m spending it sharing what I set as my intention for 2024 and how I’ve seen it come to life!

I made a decision in 2023 that I wanted more meaning in my travel, especially who it was with. I wanted that time with my mom, just her and I in a way we hadn’t done before. Sure, Grandma has come on plenty of our family vacations or when we traveled when I was a child….but her and I as adults doing things we are interested in or wanting to try?!? That’s an adventure that was left to be done.

And it’s been wonderful! We did 2 trips together this year and are planning our 2025 and beyond travels now! And I cannot wait!

You know what you’ll NEVER regret?

Taking the dang trip.

I recently got back from Mexico, and I couldn’t help but think of how much travel has changed me.

So many new perspectives, ideas, and inspiration come to me every time I take myself out of the everyday chaos and take myself somewhere else. Clarity always emerges.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by your never-ending to-do list, stuck in a rut with the same old routine, or just plain exhausted from the daily grind, it might be time to pack your bags and escape for a bit!

Forget the witches and ghouls; nothing gives me more chills than seeing couples take risks with their vacation time because of travel advice they find online that isn’t vetted.

Seriously, if you think a haunted house is scary, try booking your first Europe trip without the right intel!

You never know if that blog post about the “best hotel” or the "Perfect European Stay" is actually true or just a cleverly edited fairy tale.

And let’s not even get started on those photoshopped hotel pictures that make places look like five-star palaces when they’re really more “rustic charm” than luxury.

So, who can you trust in this spooky travel landscape?

You can trust me! I’ve been to many of the destinations I recommend. I did the legwork learning places and activities I recommend.
And here’s the thing: I can’t get to every hotel or resort. Sometimes, clients ask about properties I haven’t stayed at yet. That’s why I’m so grateful to have such a strong network of trusted colleagues and partners around the world that I can call on.
