Discover the Appalachian Trail's ‘Stairway to Heaven’ - a hidden gem in Vernon, NJ. 🏔️🥾

The Appalachian trail runs from Maine to Georgia - and passes through 14 different states. There is a 20-mile section that cuts through Vernon and stretches from the Wallkill National Wildlife Refuge at the Wantage border, across Pochuck Mountain and north-central Vernon, through Wawayanda State Park to the West Milford border.
