Today (Saturday, Nov 2) head to Horton Vineyards for Women in Wine Weekend and meet winemaker Caitlin Horton, who in 2021 was hailed as one of the youngest winemakers in the country. Caitlin will lead a Q&A from 1 – 2 pm in the tasting room. Eighteen varietals, 300-400 tons of fruit to process, 60,000 gallons to produce – How does she get it all done?

Virginia's Latest Wine Tour Sensation! All inclusive Wine Tours and In Home Tastings with a taste of American history, cuisine and shopping. ​Supporting women, family and diversely owned vineyards and traditions. Owner/Host, Deanna McRae King, is a an entrepreneur and avid supporter of family, women and diversely owned vineyards and traditions. She worked as a reserve tasting specialist at Chrysalis Vineyards in Middleburg, VA for 5 years, and was inspired to open Fruits & Roots Wine Tours following a year in ​Los Angeles, CA where she enjoyed events sponsored by the acclaimed Zuri Wine Tasting & Tours, owned by wine enthusiast, Tuanni Price. Deanna decided to combine Zuri Wine's day tour event with her love of history, farm-to-table cuisine, and Virginia Wine. Leveraging from her favorite TV show, "A Taste of History" with host Chef Walter Staib, proprietor at the 18th century City Tavern Restaurant in her native Philadelphia, Deanna developed her "Fruits & Roots Wine Tours" concept. A wife, mother and grandmother, Deanna personally hosts each tour with the assistance of her blended family.
