We are excited to announce our participation in the Norton Wine Tour 2024!

We, the Norton Network—a collective of Virginia Norton growers, wine producers, and advocates—are excited to announce the first-ever Virginia Norton Wine Tour taking place this October-November. This collaborative effort aims to highlight the exceptional qualities of this historically significant native grape across 22 Virginia wineries and vineyards that either grow Norton or feature it prominently in their wines.

The tour will span a month, starting the weekend of October 18th and continuing through November 10th. Each weekend, participating wineries within a select radius will host events and offer promotions to showcase the diverse expressions of Norton wine—from fruity rosés to bold reds. Join us and be dazzled by Virginia’s native gem!

Virginia's Latest Wine Tour Sensation! All inclusive Wine Tours and In Home Tastings with a taste of American history, cuisine and shopping. Supporting women, family and diversely owned vineyards and traditions. Owner/Host, Deanna McRae King, is a an entrepreneur and avid supporter of family, women and diversely owned vineyards and traditions. She worked as a reserve tasting specialist at Chrysalis Vineyards in Middleburg, VA for 5 years, and was inspired to open Fruits & Roots Wine Tours following a year in Los Angeles, CA where she enjoyed events sponsored by the acclaimed Zuri Wine Tasting & Tours, owned by wine enthusiast, Tuanni Price. Deanna decided to combine Zuri Wine's day tour event with her love of history, farm-to-table cuisine, and Virginia Wine. Leveraging from her favorite TV show, "A Taste of History" with host Chef Walter Staib, proprietor at the 18th century City Tavern Restaurant in her native Philadelphia, Deanna developed her "Fruits & Roots Wine Tours" concept. A wife, mother and grandmother, Deanna personally hosts each tour with the assistance of her blended family.
