Just returned from a fabulous trip on Royal Caribbean's Utopia of the Seas! The trip started with the weather forecast of Hurricane Helene heading towards Florida. My flight to Orlando was scheduled to land at 6:30 Thursday evening, right when the storm was beginning to churn. That's when I went into agent mode and switched all reservations to Wednesday (a reminder to readers as to why it's important to have an agent working with you to give personalized support) Riding out the storm at my hotel in Orlando was an experience with the electricity going on and off during the night, but we made it with the ship only being delayed a few hours.

I can't say enough about Utopia...so much to see and do that I wasn't sure if a weekend was enough! Each meal was better than the next (and the drinks weren't bad either!). The entertainment was some of the best I've ever seen on any ship! Not to miss was the Aqua 80 Too water show!

The highlight was visiting Royal Caribbean's own island, Perfect Day at Coco Cay! Simply gorgeous!! I spent the day at the Hideaway Beach area which is for adults only. There was no problem getting a beach lounge and umbrella but most of my time was spent in the heated infinity pool (which features a large swim up bar and DJ playing.) Have to say the vibe was electric...even made some new friends who were streaming Sunday football! It was sad to leave but I knew I had a last night lobster dinner at Hooked to look forward to.

I cannot recommend Utopia's weekend sailings for a quick getaway. Feel free to reach out to book your ultimate weekend on Utopia of the Seas!
