Every year, I review the images I've had the privilege to capture whether they're lifestyle portraits, romantic weddings, or those special events. And then, I do the hard thing and select an image of the year . . . It's hard, but somebody's got to do it. Yay me . . . I'm "somebody!"

Happy birthday to the Queen! Yes, Queen Ethel wanted her birthday to be adventurous. At 7:05 am this morning, she bossed all the way up and we shot with 21 degree temperatures, in mud, and on ice. I even took a fall for the cause and Ethel, in her “extra small” sized frame tried to help me up and she began sliding. But she killed her shoot tuh-day! Don’t sleep on the December babies!
