To wrap up our trip, we stayed in a studio at Bay Lake Tower(DVC Contemporary Building)then moved over to Club Level in the main building of The Contemporary and were fortunate to have one of the most amazing views we’ve ever had.

Our Take on Bay Lake: The rooms are small and somewhat dated, BUT they are in the middle of renovations to upgrade these rooms. Unfortunately those renovations were in the room next to us and above us lol 😂 that aside, the walk to Magic Kingdom, the ease of the monorail, shopping and food options are always amazing 😍 smaller rooms and construction, it’s still one of my favorites!

Bay lake pool and splash pad were quiet, relaxing and the kids loved it. They also have games in their rear courtyard. A pool table, ping pong, life size chess, life size connect 4, shuffleboard and Co****le. Absolutely want to return once the renovations are done to check it all out!

Contemporary Club Level: It semi saddens me to say, we did not love club level at Contemporary like we did Beach Club. The upsides, the rooms were a bit bigger with an extra fold down bed in the couch, a larger balcony, a ton of closet space and a soaking tub. We had a Theme Park/Fireworks view that you just can’t get anywhere but Contemporary. But it was difficult to find seats, food/snacks were often out and it was even more difficult to try and take food/drinks back to the room for the kids. Most of the staff were friendly, but as beach club went above and beyond, we found ourselves having to ask for basic things at Contemporary. Housekeeping was amazing, even waiting for us to leave late graciously (since we’re always running late). But would probably not return to their club level. Even though that sounds slightly entitled. After having such an amazing experience at Beach Club, we were just hoping for similar. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The Contemporary has a lot to do, dining options, gym, pool, splash pad, fishing excursions, fireworks cruises, small beaches, shopping, a huge arcade and of course the monorail. 🚝 some photos below! From our room level we could also see Epcot and their fireworks. Which was obviously an added bonus!

What’s YOUR favorite park and ride?! I loveee Magic Kingdom for the vibes, decorations and options for food, rides and todo for my littles!! Even though Haunted Mansion is my favorite there. Pooh a close second. BUT..on adult trips, Hollywood Studios has my 💕 rock n roller coaster, Tower of Terror 😍 Toy Story Land and Frozen ❄️
