Walking along the beach at Arromanches (Normandy), I noticed the sand had an unusual appearance. Upon closer inspection, I saw that the beach had been covered in these mysterious "sand doodles." A sign from the travel gods? Nah, just a moment to make my trip all the more memorable.

Greece is being hit with a heat wave sending temps over 100 degrees. Some of the fall out has been tourists dying, attractions being closed & wildfires. Summer is a popular time for travel, but, rarely do vacationers consider heat waves & their impacts.
