Really delayed appreciation post….

My 4 year old’s FAVORITE place is and this photo is from a rare mother son date a few weeks ago.

He got his chocolate monkey smoothie and did his victory dance -he was so excited. Almost immediately he dropped it and it spilled everywhere. He was starting to cry and I reassured him “accidents happen.” We tried to help clean it up but the staff came and took care of it. Just as we were getting ready to get back in line to order another, a new one was placed on the counter for him. He was so happy and no longer embarrassed.

There are some businesses I will continue to support no matter what. The will continue to be one of them. Thank you for your small acts of kindness that make the biggest difference ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The Seafoam House was the first time ever that my only design inspiration came from the previous owner.

She had Seafoam green carpets throughout the home and many other possessions in this color. I told her niece when we bought the house that I would keep this color theme to honor her. I was so adamant on staying true to this promise that I carried around a chunk of the carpet everywhere I went for months to make sure the color was just right.

I can’t imagine how hard it was to sell us this home she loved so much. I thought of her (or what I felt I knew of her from things I found in the house) in every design decision. The niece and myself both felt this was all “meant to be,” and I am forever grateful that it was. I love this house and the fact that it brings joy to so many people now (including my own family).

If you are enjoying the flowers in the yard, those are all her 😊
