Hello! I am sorry to say we have had heat issues "No Heat" at the Fine Art Society, and I have not been able to teach classes at the building. I am now posting upcoming classes that I plan on teaching, and we are working on the heating situation. We are also sharing ways you can help our art community to get classes going. Please follow me for upcoming classes for the next couple of weeks. If you are looking for kid art classes, you have found it! If you want to take a creative art class.... you have found it! I have planned some fun and exciting classes that are on the way! I also have classes for the blind and visually impaired on the horizon. Please respond and tell me what you are looking for in a class, also, what age and type of class and day you are looking for. I want to be an asset to the art community in our area. I will be teaching art classes at The Fine Art Society of Middle GA. I need to know your thoughts on what you are looking for. I look forward to meeting you!

Let's get rolling! We have had heating issues at The Fine Art Society in Warner Robins, but as we know in Middle GA we have early spring weather. I will be starting my art classes on Mondays, Tuesday's and some Fridays and Saturdays in FEBRUARY! Keep watch for upcoming classes. These classes will be for ages five to adult. New classes posting soon. Please consider art for your children and make plans to join me. 💜

Hello dear people! I am having a pop-up art class. If you are looking for a fun and creative activity for your little Van Gogh, then this is for you! You can bring your kiddos to join me in this creative work space for a Holiday Art and Play class. Ages 7 to 11. We will explore art through play and create a holiday work of art!
Time: 2:00pm till 3:30pm
Where: The Fine Art Society Gallery (FAS) in Warner Robins
Cost per child: $25.
Payment through Cash App: $tammyratzken or contact me for other payment options.
Please let me know the name and age of your child that will be attending the class and label "Holiday Art and Play."
Drop off and pick up promptly. You can wait in the parking area in front of the building if you like.

The Nightmare on Main St. event went great last night! I went there with a friend and represented the Fine Art Society of Middle GA Gallery. The weather was great and there were hundreds of people at the event! We gave out all of the paint that we took with us and we ran out just before the event was over. Thank you to the Fine Art Society of Middle GA Gallery for the paint donation for the event. The kids and parents loved getting the paints for a treat and learning about the Gallery. Thanks to the two ladies that helped us clean up all of those boxes at the end of the night.Thanks Byron for hosting this event!

Come out to the Fine Art Society (FAS) 🎨 Classes by Tammy in Warner Robin! Join me to paint this whimsical Pumpkin! This class is happening October 28th @ 1pm to 2:30pm. This is a fun class for adults and kids. I look forward to painting with you and your kiddos!

The past couple of weeks have been a different kind of transition. My father contracted Covid, and he passed away this week. I have been out of town with family. Hello! Come create with me! I am transitioning into my new teaching space at The Fine Art Society (FAS) Gallery in Warner Robins. I am planning my class schedule to begin classes the last week of August or the 1st week of September. I am posting this schedule to get your input. I have produced the following schedule and could add or change some classes. Please let me know your thoughts and the ages of your children that you are looking to take classes.
You can sign up for four weeks at a time. Seats are limited.
$135 for the first for weeks.
$125 for continuing students.
All materials provided.
The class sessions run one and half hours.
Payment due every 4 weeks.
If I have an open class seat, a child can drop in for the class, $35.
Please see the following schedule and description of classes.
Mondays:
1-2:30 pm, ages 6 to 8, Books and Brushes and STEAM with loose parts
3-4:30 pm, ages 9 to 12, Books and Brushes and STEAM with loose parts
In these classes we would explore art through loose parts. Children would create hands on works with random objects and we would explore patterns in nature. We would then sketch, paint, or draw the works that they create. We would learn the elements of art and about different artists. This class would not be limited to only what I mentioned above. I like to use themes and that will guide some of our art sessions. Your child would also learn about famous artists and different illustrators work in Childrens books and I will springboard into art from the books.
Tuesdays:
No class, but I could add at 12 to 1:30pm.
Wednesday:
No class
Thursday:
2:30-4pm Painting class for ages 8 to 12 years.
5:00 pm Art Engineering class for ages 10 to 12 years. In this class the kids would build/engineer, train tracks, roads, buildings, bridges, and towns with wooden tracks, cardboard, wood peices and blocks. We would explore art through the kids' creations and learn the elements. Kids would create a plan or just build randomly, and we would draw or paint the creation. This will build critical thinking skills and kids will experience working as a team to reach a goal.
Friday:
1-2:30 pm, ages and type of class to be determined
3pm to 4:30 pm, Teen's art class.
Saturday:
Random classes to be announced.

Hello, FYI...after three years in Macon at my Mulberry Street 🎨 Art Center, I am moving my classes to a new location in Warner Robins. I am shutting the door in Macon. Join me at The Fine Art Society at Commercial Circle (FAS).
I will be posting my classes for Mondays, Tuesdays, Friday's and some Saturdays.
Art builds confidence, it brings peace and calm, it brings a foundation to build on, it helps to overcome grief and change. It brings healing to the heart 💝. Consider art enrichment classes for
your child.
We will explore many new things in this coming year. Join me as we grow as an art community.
I am planning math art, community art, science art, nature art, literature art with my " Books And Brushes classes. Mommy and child classes. Classes for all ages. Including adults. Grand parent and Grandchild classes too. So much to explore and create.

Every day I visit this page to write something...and find I have no words. I can't even express all that has happened lately. It is just too much. Your prayers are greatly appreciated. On the bright note... I am getting better...but not well yet. I still need tests and even though the neurologist told me I have vasculitis...he or his team is not really sure...he said in his nearly forty years...he has never seen what is going on in my brain. So, what do I do? Right now even though...I should be getting tests done...I am taking care of my mom, she was taken advantage of for all her money and possessions. I am picking up the pieces. Not an easy task. My dad is recovering from COVID and pneumonia in a nursing home. He is not doing well and has cancer. I am under a great amount of stress and hope I can bare the load. I need your prayers. I have not been able to work in almost 3 months. Life is very difficult. My life has been uprooted and I have many decisions to make. God is able and my trust is in Him. We are the body... I am reaching out for support. God direct me in the coming days. I need God's guidance and wisdom so much. My life (literally) depends on it. Please praY for my health and my well being. Prayer is powerful. I need you all. God bless you in all that you do. Please let me know you are out there. I appreciate everyone's prayers and support. Hug and love 💕 to you all.

We had a great Books & Brushes class yesterday! We read the books Leaf Man and Red Leaf, Yellow Leaf by Lois Ehlert. We discussed the topics touched on in the book and created these lovely paintings. I hope the two students who couldn't make feel better today! I hope the ballgame was great for the other kiddo who couldn't make it!!
