Today’s Walt Disney World Resort highlight - Port Orleans Resort-Riverside

🏨Hotel Overview: From the stately white-column mansions of Magnolia Bend to Alligator Bayou’s quaint backwoods cottages, delight in a picturesque setting that evokes the romance of rural Louisiana. Take a short walk along the Sassagoula River to Disney's Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter, known for Southern specialties like gumbo, jambalaya, and beignets. Stay in the Royal Guest Rooms which features touches of Princess Tiana and her pals. The average price per night is $411, depending on the season this price is subject to more or less $$$. (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY). This is a beautiful resort that I feel can be very underrated at times!

🍸Dining: Port Orleans Riverside has a few unique bars that make you feel like you’re right in Louisiana. Riverside is also home to the sit-down restaurant, Boatwright’s Dining Hall. This menu features many flavors you would find in NOLA like Jambalaya, Shrimp and Grits, and a Seafood Boil🦐

🎳Activites: Port Orleans Riverside has 5 leisure pools as well as their main pool, Ol’ Man Island. Ol’ Man Island is a 3.5-acre refuge with a swimmin’ hole and a fishin’ hole. Fashioned after an abandoned sawmill, this pool is accessible by 3 wooden bridges and includes a 95-foot-long rustic waterslide built into the millworks. Riverside also has Horse-Drawn carriages that take you along the scenic banks of the Sassagoula River (costs $65). They also have bike rentals, fishing, jogging trails, an arcade, and many playgrounds for kids.

🚘Ammenties: Port Orleans Riverside is a Moderate Resort that is located in the Disney Springs area. There is also a complimentary water taxi that takes you to Disney Spring, which has lots of shopping and dining options. This resort also offers bus transportation to and from all Disney theme parks and water parks.
