Thrilled to announce our partnership with ESPN 950 in Richmond, Virginia. Catch Redskins games and University of Richmond matches on the phone line, in addition to two local sports talk shows -- SportsPhone with Big Al and Hardly Workin’ with Greg Burton

ESPN 950 announced today a new way to listen to its 24/7 sports programming using a mobile phone. AudioNow® has provided a call-to-listen number where individuals can dial in any time and hear all of the station’s local and national sports talk shows plus live play-by-play broadcasts. The number to hear the station from around the United States is (712) 770-9500.

“We’re thrilled to add yet another way for our loyal listeners to tune in, whether they are across town or across the country,” said Operations Director of ESPN 950 Mitchell Bradley. “With technology being as it is today, this is a terrific opportunity for fans of our broadcasts to stay connected from anywhere by just picking up their phone and calling in.”

"Listening to radio on mobile phones should be as simple and reliable as turning on the radio. We designed our call-to-listen platform to do exactly that. Now someone can dial a phone number and listen to the radio on-the-go using just their voice minutes," added Digital Director of AudioNow Rebecca Walker. "We're thrilled to be working with ESPN 950 to bring their programming to mobile phones all over the country."

ESPN 950, Richmond’s home for Redskins radio, currently carries a mix of syndicated network shows including Mike & Mike, Dan Le Batard and Ryen Russillo. Additionally, two award winning local sports talk shows air daily, SportsPhone with Big Al and Hardly Workin’ with Greg Burton. The station also has agreements with the University of Richmond for football and men’s basketball, plus ESPN Radio, Westwood One Sports and Compass Media which provide play-by-play broadcasts throughout the year. A majority of ESPN 950’s programming is also simulcast in Central Virginia on SPORTS FM 100.5 WZEZ.
