Dear friends,

I am feel SO GRATEFUL to be able to share with you that our house survived this insane flood.

The water came very close to the actual house which has never happened before. If you've ever been there, you know the house is on top of a little hill. The yard got a good soak and the dock held up (or down, really) too.

Here are some pics screen shots from the videos from our cleaning team checking on our little house 3 day after the hurricane passed Weeki Wachee - shout out to Rachelle, THE BEST of the best!

Overall we feel extremely lucky. Hurricane Helene was devastating to many throughout the Florida coast all the way up to North Carolina.

We wish everyone a safe recovery!

We should respect and cherish them so much more!

This is why you never have your grill near your home!

Here are six common sensical grilling tips for Memorial Day Weekend.

1. For propane grills, check the gas tank for leaks before use in the months ahead.

2. Keep your grill clean by removing grease or fat buildup from the grills and in trays below the grill.

3. Place the grill well away from the home, deck railings, and out from under eaves and overhanging branches.
Always make sure your gas grill lid is open before lighting it.

4. Keep children and pets at least three feet away from the grilling area.

5.If you use starter fluid when charcoal grilling, only use charcoal starter fluid. Never add charcoal fluid or any other flammable liquids to the fire. When you have or are finished grilling, let the coals cool completely before disposing in a metal container.

6. Never leave your grill unattended when in use.
