For the second time this week, an AppleSox alum has made his major-league debut. This time, it's 2014 pitcher Drew Rasmussen. He tossed two scoreless innings last night for the Milwaukee Brewers and becomes the fourth former AppleSox player to make his MLB debut this season (a new single-season AppleSox record) and the 17th all-time.

Update from Run Wenatchee

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, RunWenatchee is postponing the Horse Lake Trail Runs in the Wenatchee Foothills until Sept. 19. The races were originally scheduled for May 9.

RunWenatchee is offering two options for people who have already signed up for the Horse Lake Trail Runs:

• Stay in the race and participate Sept. 19. Entries will automatically be pulled forward to the new date in the event’s registration system. If a participant ordered a shirt, that shirt will be waiting for them on Sept. 19.

• Rollover an entry and shirt order to the 2021 Horse Lake Trail Runs. To take advantage of this option, participants need to email [email protected], type ‘Rollover” in the subject head, and add their name and race distance in the body of the email.

All other questions should be directed to [email protected].

The health and safety of our runners, volunteers and our entire community are very important to us here at RunWenatchee. We understand the impact this decision will have on our runners, beneficiaries, sponsors and the overall community. We thank you all for your continued support during these unprecedented times. We will continue to update you via social media, traditional media, e-newsletters and our website at https://www.runwenatchee.com.
