Disneyland is closely monitoring Hurricane Hilary and making adjustments based on the latest information from the National Weather Service. Disneyland Resort theme parks will close early tomorrow, Sunday Aug. 20, with Disney California Adventure Park closing at 9 p.m. and Disneyland Park closing at 10 p.m. The Downtown Disney District will close at 11 p.m.

Disneyland resort hotels will remain open to serve our guests staying with on property.

Adventure is Out There

Traveling has always been a passion of mine. I have traveled as a young surfergirl, island hopping through Hawaii and exploring the beaches of Baja Mexico. I have traveled as a single Mom, figuring the ins and outs of lugging everything around a baby and a toddler needs, and how to get your baby its own seat on a flight. I have traveled as a wife with a full family, and perfected the art of Disney and Disney Cruise Line. I have lavished in 5-star, 5-diamond luxury trips, and have stayed in palapas with no electricity on week-long yoga retreats. I have traveled as the mom of a special needs child, and know how that rewrites your script. I have traveled as a volunteer to provide medical services to the people of Cambodia. I have traveled as a participant in Girls’ Trips, and found the peace in traveling solo (which I HIGHLY recommend). Travel brings me life, and reminds me of how large this world is, how much of it I still have not touched, and the possibility of the adventure in its discovery.
