Great 2021 Season, topped off with my annual "Orientation Week" drop at U Rhode Island. They ride the South County bike trail (old railway).
I ride all seasons, but autumn riding is a favorite time, with cooler weather, quiet roads, and hues/shadows that can't be matched in summer.
Itching with anticipation on my new bike arrival in January; I've already booked a 360 mile ride in Death Valley for March.

Airline Trail, Hop River Trail, East Bay Bike Path, Coventry Bike Path, South County Bike Path are regional Rails-to-Trails rides. Great for all seasons, but the trails have been particularly popular over the last year. NAPATREE BIKES will begin delivering on JUNE 7, 2021. Let's get riding!

Napatree Bikes had a busy 2020 season: calculations show that I lifted 47 tons of bicycles in and out of the Ranger! (Roughly doubled from 2019 season.) Now on to the autumn leaves!

Because of COVID uptick, parking at Misquamicut State beach will reduce to 25% capacity. My guess is that 25% will happen by 8:30am. Red on unmasked faces won’t be sunburn!

All in a day. Sitting at a favorite Watch Hill house awaiting the arrival of a family. So quiet, then some sort of parade came through. Ughh, shattered serenity!

Who could have guessed we'd be dreaming of biking from "shelter in place". Well, don't dream... get out and ride! You're likely not within six feet of anyone unless you wear that special lycra and your tires are way-too-thin. The fresh air will be more therapeutic than your proud stock of TP. And, just maybe, by summer we'll be back to the beach!

5 boro NYC Tour registration is January 8th. Usually sells out 32,000 riders in a few weeks. If you’re interested in riding the 42 miles on May 3rd, I’d be happy to supply pointers or you can ride with my team. I believe this would be my tenth year on that tour.

Seems like 'forever' since summer riding! For those following, Westerly had a beautiful autumn, no hurricanes, but we saw some surf. Today the first snowfall. The bikes are warm and dry.
