Dine and Play Returns to Disney Cruise Line!

Beginning 2/1, Disney Cruise Line will bring back Dine and Play in a phased approach across the fleet. This offering allows children to participate in fun and engaging activities while adults enjoy a leisurely dining experience.

Here are some reminders about this guest-favorite offering:

* Available for children ages 3-10 who are registered at The Oceaneer Club/Lab
* Only available for second dinner seating
* Dining room servers will ask guests if they are participating in Dine and Play
* Guests are responsible for bringing their child to the entrance of the dining room to meet the Youth Activities team between 9:00 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. for check in. The Youth Activities Counselors will then es**rt children to the Disney’s Oceaneer Club/Lab.

✨Disney Wish Day 3✨

Our last day started with Churro Mickey Waffles and P.O.G Juice so I knew it was going to be the best one yet!

We were docked at Disneys private island Castaway Cay! We had a cabana in the adults only area Serenity Bay that was just perfect. These come with bike rentals, snorkel gear, floats, fruit and snacks, and soda!

We spent the day relaxing before getting back on the ship for BINGO (we didn’t win) and more espresso martinis from Cove Cafe of course!

We finally went and had drinks at Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge, this is such an immersive experience and I have some videos I’ll post at a later date.

We went to dinner at 1923 and then saw Aladdin which was our favorite show of the whole cruise! We met some characters before heading up to watch Jungle Cruise on the funnel vision and heading off to bed.

We all said we wish we had more time because there is just so much to do and see on this ship! We all can’t wait to go back.

✨Disney Wish Day 2✨

We started the morning off taking a tour of the ship! We learned all about the ships design and the choices behind it. From the carpet, to the art on the walls to the light fixtures there is a reason for everything. Everywhere you look there’s a new detail to spot (like Gus and Jaq hiding under Cinderella’s dress) I highly suggest taking one on your next sailing and learning all the fun facts.

We headed to trivia in The Bayou (we did not win) before getting off the boat to snorkel in Nassau. We had so much fun and had an amazing crew. We got to see tons of colorful fish and on the way back our guide showed us all of the celebrity homes (I took a photo of Michael Jordan’s lol).

When we pulled up to the port I got a good photo of the size comparisons between the Disney Wish, Carnival Glory, and Royal Caribbeans Utopia of the Seas!

We ended the night at Arendelle celebrating Anna and Kristoffs engagement party! My sister was also THRILLED to learn from our wonderful server Hellen that in Kenya, Giraffes are just as common as deer in America! She’s now decided that she has to visit.

✨Disney Wish Day 1✨

We boarded the ship and started exploring! The Disney Wish is themed after Cinderella and her statue is in the grand hall. The chandelier on the ceiling is an upside down portrayal of Cinderellas dress transformation! There are nods to Cinderella all over the ship, from the carpet to the art on the walls. It’s beautiful!

We spent some time in the adults only area upstairs getting espresso martinis at Cove Cafe before sailing away.

Disney Cruise Line offers rotational dining so you rotate restaurants each night but keep the same dining staff! Our first stop was Worlds of Marvel where we met our wonderful servers Mike from South Africa (who refers to my brother as Ben From Rhode Island) and Hellen from Kenya.

We disembarked from a wonderful weekend on the Disney Wish this morning! We stopped in Nassau, and Disney’s Castaway Cay.

I have so much to share about this amazing ship once we get back home (and get some sleep)!
