Every good fishing trip has to end, and so it is with FishingKids. While we love the characters and stories we offered to you and your fishing kids, we have not been able to find a big enough market to allow us to keep the doors open. We are closing the FishingKids webstore.

We are very grateful for all the enthusiastic support we have received from you and from the thousands of parents and grandparents that have bought our books and gear for their kids. In the spirit of FishingKids, we hope that you will continue to make fishing, family, and outdoor fun a part of your child's life.

We will keep this page open so that you can share your fishing tales and experiences with the FishingKids community. We have a lot of books and action figures in the warehouse in case any of you can find a better way to the market than we were able to.

“I just finished reading the Monster of White Bear Lake to my 6 year old. He absolutely loved it! His favorite TV show is Monster Fish and he is also an avid fisherman when he can get out with his dad. The book was very entertaining, especially for me, the mom, to read aloud to him. It was engaging and my son didn’t want me to put it down each night. The dialogue between the Bobber and Spinner was funny and I found my son laughing out loud a few times. The descriptions of the fish, lures and etc were informative as well. My favorite part was the lesson that honesty is always a good thing and telling the truth doesn’t have to be a bad thing. Anyway, I think we will have to get the next one in the series. Great book!” – Mom of a 6 year old
