Quick photo dump from our trip to Walt Disney World and Universal Studios!🌎🐭

It doesn’t matter how old you are, or how grown up you think you’ve become, the magic of Disney is that you get to reconnect with the wonder you once held as a child.
We all tend to lose sight of that wonder as we age, but I can assure you that visiting either of these places will bring you right back to your childhood!

Although it’s not pictured or videoed because I was so enthralled by the performance, I had my first experience of truly understanding the power of the American ideal. While in the Americas at Epcot’s World Showcase, we witnessed a show by a choir that incorporated the values that Disney tries to instill, while telling the story of America. Maybe it was the acoustics, maybe it was the fact that we were listening to an actual Disney choir, or maybe it was God using the magic of Disney to touch us all, but never have I actually felt the story behind the song “God Bless America”. It was so brave, so beautiful, and perhaps one of the most powerful things that I’ve ever had the privilege of listening to. Not to mention, the pure passion in the director and the singers faces just made it all the better.

THE GRAND CANYON📍

The first time I’ve ever had nature bring a tear to my eye…

As I stood in the presence of what many consider to be the greatest creation on earth, I couldn’t help but reflect on the sign I had just read before laying my eyes on this masterpiece.

It said something along these lines…

“The Grand Canyon has inspired some of the greatest art the world has ever seen. It has helped numerous people overcome their deepest fears, traumas, addictions, and for many, it completely changes who they are and their perspectives on life just by being in the presence of such magnificence. It is considered one of the seven natural wonders of the world.”

I looked out over a vastness that cannot even be fathomed, felt the energy that this place holds, and was moved so deeply, I couldn’t help but shed a tear as I just stood there and stared into pure beauty.
1.8 billion years in the making. 🤯🌋

It’s the kind of stuff that inspires genius. It moves people to do the things their hearts tell them, and helps set new courses of life. It is the work of something so divine, you can’t help but feel more than human when you finally take it all in. 🙌🤩

I will undoubtedly be returning to this magical place one day, and I’m putting it into the world now, I will hike to the bottom to spend the night in this lifetime. 🥾⛺️

Lower Antelope Canyon was straight out of a movie! 😍🎬

It was pretty surreal being able to touch rock that is 180 million years old. The picture with the nodes in the wall are actually mineral deposits from the intense pressure from when it was an ocean! Easily the oldest rock I’ve ever touched.

I guess the next step will be hiking to the bottom of the Grand Canyon to mingle with rock that’s 1.8 BILLION years old. 🌋

That’s 1/3 the age of the entire Earth 🤯😅

Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Joey and Michelle Powell! 🥳👰🏻‍♀️🤵🏻‍♂️

These newlyweds just came back from an unbelievable week long honeymoon experience in Honolulu, Hawaii, and boy was I happy that Joey is a photographer! Look at these photos??!!! 😍

I’m so thankful that Joey and Michelle entrusted me to not only officiate their wedding (that was nerve racking), but also let me take the reigns, and curate their entire Hawaiian honeymoon!

Some of their inclusions were a submarine tour where they got to see the coral reefs and a sunken ship in the worlds largest commercial submarine, a nature hike to the islands tallest waterfall, a zip line tour through the area that Jurassic Park was shot at, an all day tour of the island’s best attractions including admission to the Byodo-In Temple, a snorkeling with dolphins experience, and a Sunset Luau at their hotel! 🌞🌺

They stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort (top rated on the island), and I was able to secure them a deal that included reduced nightly rates, a waved mandatory resort charge, and a room upgrade to the Rainbow Tower that included a double balcony corner, overlooking the ocean and the nearby lagoon/marina. 🏢

Just booking this vacation made me want to run off myself! 🏃‍♂️✌️

Things tend to fall into place in the strangest of ways at times!

Before earning this certification, I had just booked the lodging for an Arizona elopement/road trip that I will be officiating, and Emily Zur Photos will be photographing! On top of that, I had just finished curating an amazing Hawaiian honeymoon with tours and excursions for yet another couple that I'll be marrying and Emily will be photographing in Dallas mid November. 🌊 🏝

The day before that, Emily told me that we might be going to Switzerland for an elopement next September, which just so happens to be the same month we will be heading to Alaska for my cousin's wedding that Emily will be photographing as well!💍 📸

And now, I'm officially certified by Travel Agent University to help curate unforgettable wedding experiences all over the globe!🌎

I gotta say, I think this was made for me because just planning out the Hawaiian honeymoon had me wanting to go run off into the sunset! It's so fun to be able to help people and learn about places I myself need to go in the process.
