League 42, named in honor of the great Jackie Robinson, the first African-American in Major League Baseball, is a youth baseball league comprised primarily of urban children ages 5 – 14. McAdams Park at 17th & Wabash (I-135 & 13th Street area) is home to the League and where we play our games. Gallery Alley is a playground for the senses - full of color, sound and touch. The alley is a destination for intersensory art experiences featuring five sculptures created by local artists Armando Minjarez, Denise Irwin, Laura Shank, Mike Miller and Tomiyo Tajiri. The works were created with a conscious effort to serve all visitors, including specific consideration for individuals with low to no vision.
I went to downtown Wichita, where I heard there was a giant spider. Wichita is known for its art and sculptures, and this spider is just one of them.
Made a quick to downtown Wichita to search for the famous Troll. Where should I head to next? #troll #wichita #kansas #explore #FYP #historic #travel #scary

The Keeper of the Plains is a 44-foot tall steel sculpture standing at the point where the Big and Little Arkansas rivers join together in downtown Wichita. This land between the two rivers is sacred ground to the Native American people and is also home to the Mid-America All-Indian Museum. The American Indian sculpture was created by Wichitan and Native American artist Blackbear Bosin (1921-1980). This icon of Wichita was erected on May 18, 1974 to celebrate the United States Bi-centennial and has kept a watchful eye on the city ever since. #native #nativetiktok #nativeamerican #wichita #history #scene #heritage #kansas #explore
Visited Faris Caves. They are collection of man-made caverns along the Smoky Hill River in the heart of Ellsworth County, Kansas. The three caverns were excavated using a pickaxe by Coloradan miner Charles Griffee in the 1880s; each is approximately 12 feet square and has a 10-foot arched roof Ons of the caves had fresh spring water flowing through it to help keep the food and supplies cool in the hot months.
