🏃 Your First Mud Run returns this Sunday, September 8, 2024. It is the ONLY mud run in the country designed so both parents and kids can run together, and the perfect race for entry level adults and "first - timers"!

The courses are 1.5 – 2 miles and include 12 - 14 obstacles that are designed for adults and kids. If you ever thought about doing a mud run, this is the perfect “first timer” event! Anyone 5 years old and up and even dogs can participate in the fun!

🎷 The Mummers return THIS WEEKEND to celebrate New Year’s in North Wildwood Friday and Saturday! Over a dozen String Bands including the top bands from the 2024 New Year’s Day Parade in Philadelphia, PA will be featured along Olde New Jersey Avenue in North Wildwood.

Festivities begin at 7 p.m. on Friday and the Mummers Parade steps off at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Olde New Jersey Ave, beginning at 2nd Street and concluding at Spruce Ave.

Best of all , the event is FREE to attend, so come on out and strut your stuff at the New Year’s in North Wildwood event with entertainment the whole family will enjoy!

📅 The Wildwood Kustom Hot Rod & Muscle Car Show will take place on the boardwalk and inside the Wildwoods Convention Center September 20-21, 2024. The boardwalk show is FREE to attend! Cars will be displayed on the boardwalk Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. from 26th Avenue to Spencer Avenue and in front of the Wildwoods Convention Center.

The inside show hours are 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with a $5 admission fee for those over 12 years old. Awards are given out on Sunday morning. For more information visit WildwoodCarShows.net

The Roots Classic 3 - Volkswagen Car Show will be held September 6-8, 2024 in the Wildwoods. Cars will be on display at various outdoor locations on Saturday and Sunday. An indoor judged Pre-2k water-cooled car show, promoting community-driven pre-2k relevant vendors, will be held on Sunday, September 8 in the Wildwoods Convention Center from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

🏃 Your First Mud Run returns in 2 WEEKS: Sunday, September 8th the race begins at 9:30 a.m. on the beach at 14th Street in North Wildwood.

Parents/Guardians will run the same course side-by-side with their children as young as five yours old. The course will feature as many as 14 obstacles, including a six-foot-high wall, a 12-foot rope climb, a tire carry, a set of tubes, heavy jump ropes, a mud pit, cargo net, and a new secret obstacle to be revealed this year.

🏊🚲🏃 The annual Tri the Wildwoods Triathlon and Wild Child Triathlon will take place along North Wildwood’s beaches, streets and boardwalk THIS Saturday, August 24 with 1,500 athletes from across the country participating in this “rite of passage race.”

⚾ The Wildwood Baseball on the Beach Tournament, Presented by Mud Hen Events and partnered with Morey’s Piers, continues this weekend August 16-18, 2024.

The MudHen Beach Baseball Tournament transforms the beach at Rio Grande Avenue, right behind the Wildwoods sign, into a baseball fan’s delight with four fields set for youth players to “play ball.”

The tournament is for youth baseball teams 9U-15U. Registration is now closed, but spectators are encouraged to watch for free from the beach or Boardwalk. A Home Run Derby will take place from 6 -7 p.m. Friday night. Tournament times are Friday 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. with championships on Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Rise and shine and row a boat! The North Wildwood Beach Patrol hosted the annual Around the Island Row today at 8 a.m. The event is an 18-mile race that begins at Inlet Beach and ends at 15th Street.
