That the Willmar Public Library has 2 State Park Passes that can be checked out and used at any Minnesota State Park for 7 days?!?!

Isn't that cool?
Explore a new state park, learn something new at a naturalist program, or simply enjoy the beauty of winter without worrying about the vehicle permit! Park passes are only valid for the vehicle entrance fee, so if you’d like to camp, you’ll still need to make and pay for camping reservations.

Start making your plans to visit the many MN State Parks!
We might be bias, but we think Sibley State Park is the BEST!

Having fun 🎶 isn't hard 🎵 when you've got 🎶 a state parks library pass 😎

Did you know that you can check out a state parks permit from the library? Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has partnered with certain libraries across the state to provide free, 7-day state park passes for those interested in visiting a state park or recreation area. Explore a new state park, learn something new at a naturalist program, or simply enjoy the beauty of winter without worrying about the vehicle permit! Park passes are only valid for the vehicle entrance fee, so if you’d like to camp, you’ll still need to make and pay for camping reservations.

Each library might check out these passes differently, so call ahead for more information on your local library's policies. Once checked out, place the pass on your dashboard so it is visible to park staff. No need to return them—just recycle and let others know about this great program!

This year, we want to expand the library program to even more libraries! Where else do we need state park library passes? Let us know in the comments below. We’ll announce how libraries can apply to participate later this spring.
