We're looking for a camp host for the 2025 season in Willow, AK!
We are a small, family built campground in the heart of Willow, AK. The campground has 10 spots. We get mostly RV campers but also get the occasional tent camper. We also have 2 campers for rent on site that stay busy in the tourist season, around May-September. We are a perfect half-way point between Anchorage and Denali National Park, with views of Denali just down the road from the campground. We have birch and spruce trees all around and a babbling creek that runs through the back of the property. The Alaska tourist train also runs through, creating a fun ambience for train enthusiasts. Foragers will love the fireweed and fiddlehead ferns!
Duties would include: assisting guests at check in and check out and other questions/needs that arise during their stay, general maintenance of the campground path and sites, cleaning and restocking the two small campers between guests, delivering bundles of wood, and cleaning of the small showerhouse. In exchange, we offer on site living in our beautiful corner of the world with electric, water, and dump. We are still small so overall hours are minimal. Other compensation can be discussed.
