Travel Tuesday. So far, what's your favorite close to home solo travel trip with your kiddo? Weekend runaways/getaways?

Mine is Carowinds Theme Park, we started going the Christmas after my husband passed and it just kinda became our escape from reality. We love 3.5 hours away, but we've been 12 times in the 22 months he's been gone.

Hello everyone. It'll be 2 years Sept 20 that my son and I were left alone. My husband of 18 years was my best friend and entire world. We did everything together and loved traveling. As a family we road tripped everywhere we could afford. Since he's been gone my son and I take weekend trips, longer summer ones, and any other time we are able. Would love to meet others that love to travel and share amazing adventure ideas.
