Our hotel was once the palace of a Cardinal! ⛪️ Did you know the Popes havent always been in Rome? In the 1300s and 1400s the seat of the Pope was moved to Avignon for safety and precuation. The Pope lived in the Palace next door (now a museum) and one of the Cardinals lived here, now a 26 room boutque hotel! This was built in 1309...I'm gonna say that again...1309! 😮 What is now the hotel's Michelin restaurant was the room where the Cardinal would host the Pope for dinners and informal meetings. This OOZES history, charm, elegance, and character! Put Avignon on your list and let me get you here! ✅️

Welcome to our second stop!! 😍🌴🌊🍾🇦🇬 We traversed to the other side of the island (only a 35 min drive) to get to this heaven! Each couple has their own full villa featuring a private plunge pool and these VIEWS!!! 🤯 There are two reataurants, and one is run by a Michelin star chef, where we are eating tonight! Each villa gets their own Ambassador, which is a butler, for anything you may need. You fill out a preference sheet upon arrival and they fully stock your villa accordingly! This is HEAVEN! WELCOME TO ANTIGUA 🇦🇬 !!! This beachfront walkout VIEW!! 🤯😍 This resort is for those who are looking for something different, something more than a "typical" all inclusive from their stay. Who truly want to relax and chill and don't need 25 restaurants and loud music, etc. Right off the bat you're greeted at reception by remains of a sugar mill from 1845. Then the porter takes you via golf cart through the nature preserve that is a bird and wildlife sanctuary with biking and walking paths (bikes included in your stay) then you reach the beach and a Rum Shack, Tiki Bar, 3 restaurants, one large pool with waterfall, and THIS BEACH!!!!🌴🌊 Best part? It's more affordable than you think!
