Sometimes you work in the Mexican Restaurant because:

1. Salsa
2. WiFi
3. You had cleaners come and they used gross cleaning products and you can’t get a migraine before work (3rd world problems🤦🏽‍♀️)

But having a mobile office is amazing. And a hella cool server who doesn’t mind me setting up shop… even cooler.

Yesterday, I got a panicked call from a client—on the verge of tears.

Her final payment for her anniversary trip was due today, but thanks to the ice storms, she suddenly had major home repairs that had to take priority. She tried calling the company herself to rebook, but stress was winning.

I said, "Um, hello… I’m your chaos coordinator. Let me handle this."

This morning, I made the call. Not only did I get her trip rebooked for her and her husband’s birthday week, but the company:

When I quit teaching… GURL, it was TERRIFYING.

The hustle is real, and some days it’s chaos. Like today—I had to take a step back from emails to organize my client files… for the next TWO YEARS.

Because business is growing. (Like, pinch-me-I’m-dreaming growing.)

I just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU. To the ones cheering me on, supporting me, following, liking, and sharing my little corner of the internet. Y’all make this possible.

Running a small business? Not for the weak. Some days it’s pure adrenaline, and others, it’s sheer exhaustion. Today? Ya girl is tired, but I’m sitting in a sunny spot in my office, vibing to my favorite playlist, and getting 💩 done.

Yall… if you have been putting off getting your Real ID… it’s time my friends. And don’t wait to book that DMV appointment.

Starting May 7 travelers will need a state issued ID with Real ID to pass through airport security. That means even domestic flights.

Because it’s my week to tell you about traveling with kids… how about travel tips from the pros. And this tip never gets old. You can easily pack 2 week of clothes in a carry on without fancy packing cubes. Including your toiletries and some shoes. All you need are some bo-bo brand gallon storage bags. I don’t like the name brand… they tend to bust open. 😳The real bonus is you have one outfit per day (saves me time choosing outfits… and my kids!), and the stinky dirty clothes go right back in a bag… which means your hotel room… stateroom… shared space stays cleaner and you guessed it less stinky!
