Beaded Bits

Beaded Bits Quirky to Classic Jewelry Designs I found that reading only held my attention for so long so I took up my thread and spent the hours with cross stitch. Epiphany!

The back story - condensed version: My son was born prematurely and I spent a lot of time sitting at the NICU (and later a variety of specialist's offices). This task kept my hands occupied when I couldn't hold my child and my mind in that half attentive meditative state that kept me from going crazy and allowed me to participate in each day. ded a portable activity that would again, keep my hands and mind engaged but I was tired of needle and thread on fabric. So I attempted some simple bead creations. I LOVE playing with beads! So now I have come to create jewelry pieces for family & friends with some regularity. I give as gifts and make items to order when requested. I would be pleased to bead for you. Most pieces are one-of-a-kind. I can use the same stitch or process but I often work with vintage beads that are found during travel or hand mix my bead colors. Let me know what you like and we can make a jewelry piece that is all you!
