Every day is a new days' learning experience on the water, and Captain Scott loves to share his passion for, and experiences of, fishing with his guests. Captain Scott fishes from December into April in Central Florida around the Orlando/Disney World area - including Lakes Toho, Kissimmee, the Butler Chain and Harris Chain of Lakes - Dec thru April and then April thru November on Lakes St Clair an

d Erie as well as the Detroit River. Florida: While in Florida you have the chance of a lifetime to catch a world-class Florida strain largemouth bass! Besides, it's always nice to be on the water in the middle of winter in the warm sunshine watching the eagles, gators, and other beautiful wildlife while hunting the next big bass. We are based in Lake Wales and are not far from Disney, Universal, Legoland, and many other parks and resorts. We're also a short ride from the Detroit Tigers' Spring Training in Lakeland where a variety of lakes are close by. If transportation is needed from a resort or hotel, please email [email protected] or call 313-718-6364 prior to booking to discuss possible arraingments. Michigan: When fishing the Great Lakes, widely considered one of the greatest smallmouth fisheries in the world, we have options. Your day can be spent trying to catch as many fish as possible, and/or out hunting a trophy, with both occasionally happening in the same day! If you are interested in trips on Grand Traverse Bay or Burt/Mullet Lakes, please contact us to discuss options, these trips should be a minimum of 2 days. We made it thru the storm unharmed. Like so many others we have no power, internet, and LTE is 99% nonexistent, with phone service at 50% at best.

It’s amazing how you think you have everything 97-99% buttoned up for these storms and as you go around the house for the umpteenth time you still find little things to either close, secure, put away, or you just plain over looked because it’s there every other normal day of your life… it’s why go around and around and zig zag to get a different look.

Just finishing the last of the laundry so everything is clean God forbid we lose power. We’re on city water so unless major trees tear up the mains can still start fresh every day.

Generator is on stand-by with extra gas cans. Candles, oil lamps, and flashlights are set, rechargeable radio set, making ice for the Yeti. Making sure to take time to hang out with Cooper who HATES storms. Putting a 2 day cooler together with ice blocks to minimize opening the fridges and deep freezer so I don’t have to keep them running on the generator full time, just hit them every few hrs.

Once the rain cleared my Dad and I got out on The Hollow for a bit of brmozeback lovin’! I packed way more rods than I knew we would need because this time of year it boils down to finesse baits. Yesterday and today it was the Z-Man Fishing Products TRD TicklerZ and 3.75” StreakZ.
