Last Friday we kicked off the summer with service at our first SummerSERVE event! Shoutout to all of our amazing VolunTARS and our friends at for creating such a fantastic experience. Our group spent some time creating a sensory garden for the students at Welbourne and doing some beautification around the property.

🌱 Huge shoutout to our Rise Scholars for making a real impact! They partnered with the City of Orlando Sustainability team to create seed bombs filled with native Florida wildflowers 🌼🌸. These are used to beautify spaces like medians and roadsides across the city.

Thanks to City of Orlando Sustainability for showing up and sharing your knowledge—and major props to our scholars for getting their hands dirty to help Orlando bloom! 💪💚

Rolling up to the Capitol with purpose! This past Tuesday, five of our students took their voices to Tallahassee, meeting with legislators to advocate for the EASE grant. From personal stories to powerful impact, they made sure the importance of this funding was heard loud and clear. Proud of these students for stepping up and speaking out!

Immersion spotlight: What are you doing on my swamp?🐊

Rollins students and staff ventured into the heart of the Florida Everglades for an unforgettable immersion experience centered around environmental protection and sustainability.

Participants partnered with local nonprofits, including the Everglades Outpost and Everglades National Park, and took part in hands-on conservation efforts such as removing invasive plants, feeding animals, and engaging in meaningful discussions about the importance of protecting our environment.
