District 212 Productions is a production company. District 212 Productions was founded in 2011 by Sande Shurin, Dorothea Swiac, Bruce Levy and Phillip Levine.

Elisabeth Henry joined the group in 2012 and together with their shared passion for creating innovative, meaningful and thought provoking work they created their first production -- Taxi Tales, written by Leonard Melfi. With many years of combined experience in writing, directing, producing, marketing and promoting, this creative team has positioned itself to develop and produce projects in the Hu

With broken heart, I search for words to express the love and gratitude I have for this remarkable woman. No words will truly express all I am feeling…

“We were small, but mighty” she would say in capping class. This is exactly how I would describe her… small but indeed mighty. She gave so much and asked so little. She was my teacher, director, mentor, my friend. She guided, inspired, encouraged and touched so many, so deeply. She was the guiding light to transformation, taking us from our current level toward breakthrough after breakthrough — in creativity and in life. Those who knew her know the world was a better place with her in it.

Sending my love to Bruce, Stephanie, Lisa and all grieving. May her light continue to shine within our hearts and guide us to our next breakthrough.
