I found this from today and it's comical. This is how I interact with them on a daily basis. It's so funny to me looking from the outside. So, they like rem pods and other electrical devices; they have gotten pretty good at manipulating them, as you can hear in the video. I always say hello when I come in and goodbye when I leave for the day. They like attention and try to get as much as they can.

A little background
So we have a spirit that likes to move items and turn the water on. One day upstairs I forgot a light on which was on a pull string. Once I got home I saw that I left it on. I came over the camera and asked if they would shut it off and within a couple minutes it sure did.

If you download the video and zoom in on the light switch you can see it is in the up position. Then it snaps to the down position this happened at approximately 2:30 am this morning. Sorry about the mess I was adding a light and left my mess. The power was off to the switch. The light in the video you are seeing is the infrared light on the night vision for the camera on the stairs.

The cards are here! The house is 95 percent ready for rent! The upstairs stairwell needs some paint and touch-ups, and the back porch/mudroom needs flooring. We are hoping to announce to be open for bookings in a few days.

UPDATE!!!!!!

I posted this video last night 12/13/2024
I spent yesterday in the process of remodeling the bathroom. I have tools and supplies scattered across the floor when I left for the night. I came back in today to work and all of my tools and supplies are shoved against one wall. I don't spook easily but this stopped me in my tracks for a minute to process how I left the room the night prior.

I pulled up the cameras to see if anything set them off and was hearing movement on live view so I activated the kitchen camera and captured this.
I guess it is a banging Friday night lol

Working on a website and online booking calendar! Struggling to decide which way I want to go for the booking calendar!
Bookings are expected to begin for January 1. We have already penciled in a few but will follow up once we get the contract/lease finished.
The house has been very active! If you use rem pods bring batteries there are times that they will nonstop mess with them. Justin is actively working on the bathroom...all I have heard is the water pressure for the shower is great 🚿
Please keep in mind the entire house inside and out has cameras the only room that will not is the bathroom. 📸 During your stay we will not be spying on you unless you ask us to pull footage for a specific incident or time. The house has great wifi if you bring your own equipment. The house does not have a TV.
I set the Christmas tree up 🌲 for the ghosts and I will likely leave it up for a little while! I had to because it felt right! I am hosting a private event on Christmas night with a suggested donation with the intent on raising the rest of the furniture funds. It will be good for us to see where we need to make adjustments before our official opening! Who is gonna book the first week? 😊 Rates will remain $350 plus required 8.7 percent tax per night regardless of the day you book. Bookings will allow 10 per night and $25 for each person beyond. A required contract waiving responsibility to harm and agreement to keep the property clean and free of damages. Children are not prohibited but not recommended. No pets, no open flames (this includes burning sage), no smoking in the house only in the designated area. Like most paranormal places we will ask that you sleep on the beds not in them but on extended stays we may allow it for cleaning fee we haven't decided on this yet. The walnut house is on a residential area so quiet 🤫 at a decent hour. Parking on the street! Host or guides available at an additional cost. Justin is far more experienced as a paranormal investigator than me but they love me too. We also have Paranormal Variant as a local host and for a cost they could possibly aid you in your investigation, if you're a beginner. I cannot wait to hear all of your stories professionals and newbies or just the curious mind. My favorite are the non-believers! You will love this house!

About two hours before, I was upstairs and neglected to switch off the light in the second bedroom. Subsequently, when I went to Menards for supplies, they demonstrated their thoughtfulness by turning off the light for me.

UPDATE

After the cat ball stops watch the wall around it it looks like a mist floating across the room to the corner next to the bed then it shoots up in to the ceiling. Everyone if you see something in our videos please feel free to point it out. We enjoy your interactions.
