The NEW DreamWorks area in Universal Orlando is officially open!!! Got a chance to sneak a peek this past week and not did they deliver!
If your kids have ever dreamed of visiting Shrek’s Swamp or learning new movies from Kung Fu Panda and friends or even being the zie of Poppy and her pals, then this is the place for them!

This whole new area is absolutely geared towards our smaller friends but there are still plenty of fun spots for our older friends too!

Remembering all those who sacrificed the most 🇺🇸

The first national observance of Memorial Day occurred on May 30, 1868.[5] Then known as Decoration Day and observed on May 30th, the holiday was proclaimed by Commander in Chief John A. Logan of the Grand Army of the Republic to honor the Union soldiers who had died in the American Civil War.[6] This national observance followed many local observances which were inaugurated between the end of the Civil War and Logan’s declaration. Many cities and people have claimed to be the first to observe it. However, the National Cemetery Administration, a division of the Department of Veterans Affairs, credits Mary Ann Williams with originating the “idea of strewing the graves of Civil War soldiers—Union and Confederate” with flowers.[7]

It’s a beautiful short 2 minute walk between Universal Orlando’s 2 current theme parks!

Disney gives some pretty nice swag but this growth chart is by far my favorite. And the best part is-it’s yours for free when you book a vacation with me 💕

Do you have a set packing list that you use for each trip? Does your luggage seem to get heavier and heavier with each trip? Do you need everything you packed? Here is a list of “essential” travel items that you can leave at home on your next vacation! • Your Giant Camera-(unless you are a photographer) Your personal camera is heavy and expensive and takes up a lot of space so leave it behind! Our phones take some amazing pictures so take advantage of that! • Multiple Pairs of Jeans- We all love our comfy jeans, but they are bulky and take up a lot of space in our suitcase. So, grab your favorite 1 or 2 pairs and leave the rest behind. • Your Whole Make Up Bag-save room and only package your favorite cosmetic items • A Blow Dryer- hotels offer blow-dryers so take advantage of that and save the room for your curling wand and straightener. • Towels- Do you need all those Beach Towels; they take up so much space. Check with your Hotel, they most likely offer Pool/Beach Towels. • Work Out Gear- Let's be honest, most the clothes we wear nowadays could double as work out gear so why pack extra? • Multiple Formal Outfits: if you need a Formal Outfit for your trip try and narrow down what you are wearing so you don’t have to pack more than one. • Travel Gadgets- are you really going to use them all? iPad, Laptops, Nintendo Switch, Kindle, Games, Cards…… Most of these require chargers and take up space. Only bring the ones you need! • Jewelry and Valuables- Please do not pack all your valuable jewelry. Grab some good-looking cheap ones, the last thing you need is to lose that pretty jewelry! • Travel Iron: Just hang your clothes up while you take a hot shower! Leave these behind and avoid any luggage fees from your bag being too big or too heavy!
