Owned and operated by the mother-daughter team of Linda Shrader and Echo Westover, Larger Than Life Murals has been creating custom public art murals, building logos, and hand-painted signage since 2007. Being fellow artists and family creates a strong bond, and a special working relationship they feel blessed to have. From the Morongo Basin, to Orange County, to the Salton Sea, their work has bee
n commissioned by private individuals, business owners, communities, non-profit organizations, school districts, art councils, county agencies, and others. Linda has spoken publicly on the subject of art and culture as an economic engine, and was a founding board member of the Morongo Basin Cultural Arts Council. Painting exhibition murals for the general public at the Indian Wells Arts Festival from 2008-2011, she has been interviewed on live TV news, and featured in numerous print media stories and articles. She has donated time, art, and materials to classrooms and non-profit organizations, and mentors many young adult artists. After receiving a scholarship for graphic design, Echo attended the Art Institute of Inland Empire- CA, until she decided to pursue fine art. She has painted numerous private commissions as well as public murals, officially becoming co-owner of Larger Than Life Murals in 2012. An advocate of art in public schools, Echo's passion is to become a credentialed art teacher, sharing her art and knowledge to inspire and educate young artists about the many career opportunities in the arts.
