Throwback to the most blueish architecture we have seen till now 💙🩵

Uzbekistan still bears memories of a spellbinding past and serenades travelers with its architectural marvels. It has a long history with travel, as three of its cities were important stops on the ancient Silk Road route. The route connected east and west and helped the Western world get a slice of the “oriental.”😍

If you are looking for a culturally enriched travel experience, look no further than Uzbekistan, the Central Asian giant❤️

Why exploring Usbekistan with your child is a great idea!

Regardless of the age of your kids, they probably won’t be as interested in stunning Islamic architecture, as you will. But there are many things that will make the trip memorable and enjoyable for the whole family.

1. Uzbek people are very welcoming and child friendly. Family plays a huge role here and they usually have many children themselves.

2. Uzbekistan is a modern country with wide offers of western products and also food (be in baby food, formula milk, diapers, clothes and food in general - pizza, pasta, salads, in case you have a picky eater).

3. The touristic infrastructure is great. The train network is comfortable, if you opt-in for fast trains. Also night trains will be an interesting experience for you kids.

4. Parks and main pedestrian zones are filled with carousels, Bobby cars, Rikscha-Bikes and other attractions for Kids - there are lots of entertainment options available every day. Sometimes there are animators.

5. The situation with playgrounds looks different depending on the city, but almost every shopping mall offers an in-door playground world (for a small one entry fee). A great option for your kids to play together with local kids ❤️

6. There are many things that older kids will enjoy - staying overnight in a yurt camp and riding a camel, or e.g. paper manufacturing in Samarkand.

Of course there are other things to consider before deciding to travel to Uzbekistan, that I will share in a separate post.
