The beautiful pyramid of Khan Tengri is without doubt the Jewel of the Tien Shan. It is the second highest mountain in this most northerly and remote of the great Asian mountain ranges. Among the local people, the white peaks are known as ‘The Mountains of Heaven’.

We offer a classical route – from the North from the Northern Inylchek glacier. This approach is one of most popular among climbers.

Trek in Fann mountains with a climbing attempt of Zamok peak (5070) and Energy peak (5120)

Fann Mountains are beautiful mountains, with a few summits above 5000 m, culminating at Chimtarga peak (5489 m). They are located in Western Tajikistan, near the Uzbek border (and Samarkand). They usually enjoy sunny, stable weather during the summer. The Fann Mountains have recently been “discovered” by western trekking agencies. We offer you one of the most picturesque treks with the opportunity to attempt two peaks in the area Zamok, peak (5070) and Energy peak (5120м).

Ski touring & freeride program in Uzbekistan. Sketch itinerary winter/spring 2023-2024

Chimgan-Beldersay is the main skiing area in Uzbekistan, which is located in the mountains of Western Tien-Shan (90 km far from Tashkent). The most interesting areas for ski touring are situated between 2000-2500 m.

Sketch itinerary winter/spring 2023-2024

Day 01. Arrival in Tashkent. Meeting at the airport, transfer in Chimgan. Arrangements with an accommodation. If the time allows – ski-slopes of Chimgan. The length of the chair lift road in Chimgan – 800 m. Overfall of heights – 385 m. Chimgan has several routes and type of complexities, a ski-track for beginning skiers, extended up to 1500 m. The ski-track for slalom is extended up to 900 m and equipped with chair lift and classified as a “red” track of mid level difficulty.

Day 02. Acquaintance with the area, an ascent to the Western Ridge of Chimgan, and then descent downwards, vertical drop – 600 m. Start at height of 2350 m. It will be possible to do it two times during the day. Return by car to hotel.

Day 03. Transfer in Amirsay. The highest point is 2275 m . The lowest point is 1630 m..The area of the resort is 900+ hectares. Trails – 11.
Lifting system of 5 lifts (gondola, chair, travelator). Ski-tracks of Amirsoy basically are intended for skilled mountain skiers, but there are also good conditions for beginners. The peculiarity of local climate creates extreme temperatures and plentiful snowfalls which promote a high-quality snow cover. Descents are carried out from mountain Maygashkan, which slopes in area of skiing have smoothed relief (steepness up to 30 degrees) without deep gorges and canyons. Archa and the deciduous woods grow on slopes alternating with open glades. Ski-slopes for mass riding are laid out along the lifts. There are also opportunities for free descents. Width of slopes for free descents up to 1 km, length of descents up to 5 km.

Day 05. Ascent to the Kizildjar mount and then descent to Chimgan. Night in hotel.

Day 06. Ascent to the Smaller Chimgan peak and then descent towards the Charvak Lake. (Or, subject to the snow conditions, repeat the most exciting element of previous days). Night in hotel.

Day 07. Repeat the most exciting element of previous days. Transfer to Tashkent train station. Leave for Bukhara by the night train.

Day 08.
07.00 Meeting at the Kagan train station. Transfer to Bukhara. A breakfast in hotel;
09.00 Excursion across Bukhara;
19.00 Transfer to train station;
20.50 Train to Samarkand.

Day 09.
01.40 Arrival in Samarkand. A meeting at train station, transfer to hotel.
10.00. Excursion across Samarkand.
17.30. Transfer to the train station.
18.00 Train to Tashkent.
20.00 Arrival in Tashkent, meeting at train station, transfer in the airport.

Climbing is cool. It’s fashionable. More and more people every year want to test their ability in the mountains. But not everyone is equally rich and healthy for such expeditions. One able to attempt the highest mountain peaks of the world, like Everest and Cho Oyu. Others choose in the middle, at the peaks of 7000m +. But even more climbers are attracted by the so-called trekking peaks with a height of 6000m +. We have a large list of climbing programs for such peaks. Most of them are located in the Nepal Himalayas. But recentlyin the top-selling trekking peak climbing program became Razdelnaya peak (6148 m.) package. Why?

The phenomenon of organised camps
In the Himalayas, there are a lot of peaks that attract climbers. But when you look at the climbing program and see the words Base Camp, what does this mean? Does this mean that the Base Camp is an organised place where climbers can expect comfortable accommodation, food, Internet and other facilities? Not at all! Very often, this is just a point, from where the ascent to the top usually begins. Everything that you will need for sleeping, cooking, seating, eating etc., you have to bring with you, or your tour operator must deliver it there for you.
In the Kyrgyz mountains, this is not so. At the foot of Lenin Peak and Khan-Tengri, comfortable base camps have been created. Arriving in Osh by plane, having one backpack, with your personal belongings, in just a few hours you will find yourself in a comfortable Base Camp. Here, tents with beds are ready for you, food is prepared. The camp has electricity, internet and even a doctor.
Here you can rent most of the things you need to climb, even high-altitude boots.
So, it remains only to climb to the top. And on the way to it there is the Advanced Base Camp almost as comfortable as BC, and high-altitude camps with pre-installed tents, high-altitude food and kitchen utensils. All this greatly reduces the level of requirements for climbers. Reduces climbing time and program cost. Here’s the answer to the question: why Peak Razdelnaya appeared among the best-selling destinations.
