British Virgin Islands Film Commission

British Virgin Islands Film Commission Welcome to the British Virgin Islands. The premier filming location in the entire Caribbean! Come Experience the BVI LOVE!

The BVI Film Commission was established over 25 years ago to facilitate and encourage film productions coming into the unique Caribbean country. With the mission of being the premier filming location in the entire Caribbean, the BVI Film Commission’s purpose is to act as a liaison between the film/photography producers and all relevant Government agencies, particularly Customs, Labour and Immigrat

ion Departments, National Parks Trust and the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force. From experienced crews, knowledgeable and connected Local Production Managers (LPMs) to rolling green hills, crystal clear waters and seemingly never-ending white powdery sandy beaches, the BVI can match any tropical story board with endless opportunities beyond your imagination above or below sea level.

🎬✨ We are proud to have sponsored the Power of Women Summit in Cannes on Thursday 16th, May - a celebration of talent, creativity, and female voices in the industry.

100 women of influence in the film industry attended the 3rd POWER OF WOMEN SUMMIT at The Members Club during the Festival de Cannes.

The attendees at this unique event discussed issues of concern to women in the industry today and identified solutions that can be translated into tangible action plans.

The Keynote speaker for this year's summit was Marie-Claire Benson, Head of the Motion Picture Group at Lionsgate UK, who recounted her journey, and the challenges women face in the entertainment business.

Emily Salveson, CEO of Streamline Global, an attendee at the summit commented “Women must unapologetically take up space. We must never apologize for having a seat at the table. We have every right to take up the space we are blessed with by virtue of our very existence.”

Co-founder and co-producer of the POWER OF WOMEN SUMMIT, US-based entertainment attorney and finance consultant Vinca Jarrett said “The Power of Women Summit Breakfast is a way for me to give back and create a unique and empowering event for women in the entertainment industry. 🎬✨
