De Grendel Winery is one of the most beautiful wineries I have ever visited. Their wines have a long heritage, founded by the first Baronet Sir David Graaff (1859-1932). De Grendel is a historic Cape farm, owned and managed by the Graaff family.

Tapas has left Cape Town and sailing in the Atlantic. There is only one stop at St. Helena Island, a small dot on the chart 1,600 nautical miles from Cape Town. Because of the vast distance between waypoints, satellites are the only connection available. Here is how to follow our adventure and track our progress. Our Automatic Ship Identification System (ASI) transponder sends a satellite signal that allows followers to track our progress real time.
