Charter 6 is done! 🎉 These sweet friends from Texas had a lot to celebrate! We packed a lot in and really enjoyed showing them around the BVI. Lots of games, Taylor Swift and books. Thanks for great week. 🙂

Charter 4 is done! 🎉 We really enjoyed having this sweet family from North Carolina onboard for NYE! We packed a lot in during a very crowded week! We made our first trek to Anegada this season and they spent some time efoiling! Lots of laughs, games and quality family time. Thanks for great week. 🙂

We survived charter ✌️ of the season! 😂 This sweet family from Pennsylvania was a ton of fun. First time snorkeling, lots of sunchill time, games, early mornings and snacks! Captain Joe has a few new members of his fan club - it’s been a while since he had young kids to play with.

Our *first* charter of the season is officially done! 🎉 These friends from Florida were so fun! We really enjoyed taking these guys around the BVIs! Lots of cribbage, laughs and bean bag time! Thanks for such a fun week! 😍

See ya later Curacao! 🇨🇼 Yesterday we left Curacao and made a stop in Bonaire while we wait for a better weather window to head home to the BVI! ⛈️ I know better than to say goodbye to this place, every off season we say we are going to go somewhere new and every off season we find ourselves back on this familiar island with familiar faces. Feeling thankful once again that our boat stayed safe during hurricane season, was well taken care of and is looking ready for another busy charter season. 🍻 Until next time Curacao.

Joe and I are already back in boat mode but I couldn’t let this off season pass without a little tribute to Joe’s favorite girl, his motorcycle Amber. 🛵 He put 2,800 miles on her this off season which is pretty good considering we had to cancel a few plans because of family obligations. So glad we got to end the off season on a high note attending the motorcycle clubs annual dinner.

We landed in Denver Friday morning and by Saturday afternoon Joe rode his dirt bike to the top of Red Cone Pass with his son Thomas. ⛰️This what I am talking about when I say we pack it in during the off-season. One more week until we are back on the boat. 🎉

On our way back to St Thomas with BVI work visas for the 24/25 season in hand! 🙌🎉🥳 We took a big risk changing employers and clearing houses this off season but so far we are really thankful for the change. I can’t tell you what a stress relief it is to know we can pick the boat up in a couple weeks and hit the ground running in early November with our upcoming charter season!

We still have a few weeks open in our calendar this season! So excited, it’s going to be a great season! ⛵️

Joe and I snuck back down to the islands to renew our work permits and so far this actually feels like a vacation which is weird for us. No boat projects, no family, no to-do list, just the two of us spending time together. 🥰 But if you’re with the IRS this is definitely a business trip! 😂

Took a quick trip to Knoxville to visit my mom, sister and nephew! It was great to see everyone. This is what our off season is all about! 😍 My mom moved to TN last summer and I gotta admit this place is growing on me. 🌳🧡

We have been really quiet lately soaking up time with family in Colorado. BUT I wanted to let everyone know we just opened up a couple weeks in November 2024 if you want to spend Thanksgiving with us! AND we are 75% booked for next season, if you are on the fence about chartering with us this year now is the time to reach out.

Now I’m going back to my glass of wine! 🍷

Looks like the kids these days are doing recaps of 2024 so here is a little highlight reel from Knot 5280. This job stressful, exhausting, and a little crazy but it’s also so much fun and sure beats a desk job! Still can’t believe we are doing this.

We made it Home! ⛵️ Boat looks great, as always Curacao Marine took great care of our big girl. She goes back in the water on Thursday. 😎

Joe and I checked out the Mt Alma hike on Tortola last week. It was a great hike! ⛰️ Have you done it?

Thinking about buying a catamaran and running charters in the Virgin Islands? We can talk you out of it real quick! 😂 We kid of course, we genuinely love our job and are thankful for the continued support and all the incredible people we get to meet. This was a fun story to put together with some estimates from this season! Cheers! Let’s do it again next season!
