We love it when our remora friends come by to hang out, but we have to be honest, they’re a little clingy 🤣
Remoras, sometimes called suckerfish, have distinctive first dorsal fins which take the form of a modified oval, sucker-like organ with slat-like structures that open and close to create suction and take a firm hold against the skin of larger marine animals such as turtles, rays, sharks, and whales.

Dolphin Encounter
While Bob was assisting Terry Carter (TC) on delivery of a Lagoon 46' (from St. Marten to St. Thomas) they encountered a Pod of Dolphins. There were about 15 altogether. They "surfed" the bow, on three occasions, for about 30 minutes in total. what amazing mammals!

While Captain Bob was assisting Terry Carter(TC), with a boat delivery from St. Marten to St. Thomas, they encountered a pod of dolphins that were enjoying bow surfing off their port and starboard hulls.
There were about 15; the total encounter lasted around 30 minutes. What amazing mammals!
