UPDATE:
I did like diving with the Zena Zeagle and will continue to use this BCD to DM with and for personal diving. I used a 63 cu ft aluminum tank and will need to adjust the tank height as I was hitting my head on my regulator. I can also re-configure my regulator for a lower profile.
Pros: Lightweight-made for much faster dry time than my Mares. The fit was very nice. I really like that I was able to snug up the BCD easily as the ambient pressure created compression on my body. Towards the end of the dive I did the skill of kit off/on under water and had no issues with the different configuration. The oral inflation was easy and the BCD filled nicely. The release of air to descend was efficient.
Cons: I most likely will not use this BCD to teach in; not enough D-rings, limited pocket space (only one small pocket on the Zena), the zipper closure is different from our rental BCDs and may lead to student confusion, the weight pockets are not an easy quick release.
Other features which might be a personal quirk of mine that I don't care for in BCDS-two can bands, there is no handle on the back to help lift the BCD off/on cylinders, and the valve strap does not snug down tight on the valve.
I will be ordering the turquoise floral front panel to spruce it up a bit and make the BCD a bit more feminine. As with a new purse, it will take a few dives to figure out where I want to put all my extras so I know where they're at.

A jacket style BCD has been my mainstay for many years; today, trying something new-the Zena Zeagle which is a back inflate!!
I’m excited and nervous to give this BCD a try! I’ve wanted something lighter weight in the hopes I’m able to pursue some dive traveling.
On land, I like the fit-made for a female shape, is snug in all the correct places and adjustable side straps lend to getting a personal fit.
Stay tuned for a review…’cause if I like it, the front panel will be changed to a turquoise floral pattern😉
