Details for September 7:

📍 Nội Bài Airport (Ha Noi) will suspend take-off and landing operations from 10 AM to 7 PM.

📍 Vân Đồn Airport (Quang Ninh) will temporarily stop operations from 4 AM to 4 PM.

📍 Cát Bi Airport (Hai Phong) will halt operations from 5 AM to 4 PM.

📍 Thọ Xuân Airport (Thanh Hoa) will suspend operations from 12 PM to 10 PM.

Typhoon Yagi is expected to remain the category of 205km/h and make landfall into Ha Noi, Quang Ninh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Hai Phong on September 7, 2024. The storm is expected to bring heavy rain and strong winds to the region. Residents are advised to prepare for the storm by securing their homes and belongings, and staying informed about the latest updates.

It is important to stay safe during a typhoon. If you are ordered to evacuate, please do so immediately. If you are not ordered to evacuate, please stay indoors and avoid going outside during the storm.

If you are making your trip to the north of Vietnam, please consider to change.

Weather and touristy activities in the central of Vietnam (Da Nang, Hue, Hoi An) and South of Vietnam is still keep going as usual.

This day 79 years ago, 30 August 1945, the last king of Nguyen dynasty Bao Dai emperor dethrone himself and hand over to Socialist Republic by president Ho Chi Minh. It also remarks the collapse of Kingdom period in Vietnam.

We have a great local food tour today. Some people ask what do you do in the food tour? Well we take people to small local eateries which are the best to taste the best local dishes, choose the best and safest things on the menu, listen to how they make it and why it is that great. We spend time and talk about the culture, history of the city and country.

New day with our UK tourists, below is their feedback after their tour:

My wife & I would very much recommend any tour with Tony as his knowledge and recall of facts is second to none. He brought his tour to life with lots of stories and anecdotes and the day flew by. His car is immaculate and his driving extremely safe on the crazy Da Nang roads, we always felt safe and happy in his company. Tony was very entertaining and engaging and knew when to be the tour guide and when to leave us be in our thoughts.

He is also a very honest person as I left my expensive sun glasses in his car by accident and when he found them he came all the way back to our hotel to return them in person. You may pay a bit more for With Locals tours but in my experience you get what you pay for and that is certainly the case with Tony! Great guy, highly recommend! Would give 6 stars if I could!

Feedback on the last day of our HongKong family:

As a family travelling with a 3-year old toddler (full of personality!), we were seeking a tour experience with somebody who is equal parts knowledgeable and with good EQ! Tony was the perfect guide who balanced our needs to keep everybody comfortable, and made sure we did not miss any of the highlights. Our toddler absolutely loved Uncle Tony! Grateful to have spent the day together.

BONUS: Tony also happens to take amazing photographs to help capture the memories. Highly recommend booking him for your next tour, and also some of the other explorations, like Hoi An!
