🕑🕑🕑Schedule🕑🕑🕑

Day 1

9AM: Gather at Flawless Coffee (216/26 Nguyen Van Huong, Thảo Điền, District 2). Be sure to have full gas tank for the camping tour so we don’t have to stop en route.

9:30AM: After having coffee and breakfast, we will depart to Nui Dinh.

11:30AM: Stop for lunch at a local restaurant and then head up the mountain (on our bikes) to the camp site.

After arriving: Have a dip in the waterfall and relax.

Afternoon: prepare for dinner (will be an assortment of grilled meats, delicious tofu and egg recipes for vegetarians or tofu only for vegans, seasonal vegetables and rice). All diets can be catered to.

Later that night: sit around a camp fire and relax.

Day 2:

7AM: wake up + breakfast

8AM: Morning exploring the waterfalls near the site.

Around noon-early afternoon lunch for those who choose to stay for it (paid extra but still very affordable, circa 100k pp).

I am very excited to introduce a collaboration with DC Motorbikes, a motorbike rental company and license training provider for expats – who are supporting my passion for exploring the country by bike and camping.

💢The trip will cost 1.950.000 VND (not inclusive of bike rental), if you share a tent with another person there will be a discount of 15% on the overall bill. If you sign up for A1/A2 license with DC there will be a 15% discount on the trip (one discount only will apply).

💢You can rent directly from DC Motorbikes for 600.000VND for the trip (both days inclusive and with a full tank of gas). You can of course bring your own bike for no extra charge! Participation in this event is at your own risk and please follow Vietnamese traffic regulations.

Let's ride and camp on Saturday the 3rd of June!

Location: Nui Dinh, 90km from Thao Dien, 2 hours approx.

Limited spaces, please DM to reserve asap. Currently 4 spaces left.

Cost: 750-850 for 1 nights accomodation including tents, ground mats, blankets and pillows and 3 meals to be included. Tents are good for three people comfortably if you want to share and save money. I think all the smaller tents are taken now so there are 4 available at 850 each left (and can for more people if you want to share).

-If you have your own gear this reduces the price.

What is included: a tent, ground mat, sheets and blanket. Shower and toilet are available on site but last time we had to shower in the hut nearby for a cost of 20k). Food and water as well as cooler to chill and extra drinks you may choose to buy.

1. Meet at 9am at TWIST COFFEE, 86 XUAN THUY. Please arrive with a full tank ready to hit the road.

2. We'll have a coffee and head off so don't be late! 9.20 leaving time at the latest.

3. Arrive at the campsite for lunch.

4. Chilllllll. We will have lunch and relax.

5. Evening movie after dinner.

6. 6am wake up call, leave by 7. Morning hike up to the famous Hang Mai Pagoda at top of the mountain.

-we will have lunch prepared for us on site, expect Vietnamese fare and of course not meat eaters can be accommodated.

-dinner will be a BBQ we will prepare ourselves, and breakfast will also be prepared by ourselves and will include banh mi, eggs, sausages etc.

-First aid kit (since we are all riding this is essential).

-Bug spray (wasn't buggy last time but this is a wilderness experience so we cannot guarantee this hasn't changed in the last few weeks).

Cost: I am negotiating with the camp owner for a good price on 1 nights accomodation including tents, ground mats, blankets and pillows and 3 meals to be included. Tents are good for three people comfortably, if you want absolute privacy this can be arranged at extra cost. If you have your own gear this reduces the price. Rough estimate of about 650 pp.

What is included: a tent (3 people in each), ground mat, sheets and blanket. Shower and toilet are available on site but last time we had to shower in the hut nearby for a cost of 20k). Food and water as well as cooler to chill and extra drinks you may choose to buy.

Cost: we will be splitting all costs equally. Basic fee is 300k then whatever else we purchase.

What is included: a tent (2 people in each), ground mat, sheets and blanket. Shower and toilet are available on site.

3. Arrive at Madabay by approximately 11.30.

4. Chilllllll. The tents will be set up for us already and a dip in the lake upon arrival is the best way to settle in

5. SUP boards are available for hire.

6. 7pm: Acoustic performance by a talented artist or two.

6. Morning yoga led by PINK AVOCADO yoga (aka Amber).

🍖🌽FOOD

-We do have the option to have food and drink brought to us at the campsite. It is cheap and delicious, and I would prefer to arrive and have lunch waiting for us.

-We pass by some markets on the way and I would suggest we all buy whatever food we wanna eat in the evening/on the way.

-For breakfast bring things that are simple and easy to make.

🎒WHAT TO BRING

-First aid kit (since we are all riding this is essential).

-Bug spray

-sunscreen

-toiletries and a towel

-head lights are super helpful 🔦

-socks or closed shoes to avoid being bitten by bugs

-a battery operated fan can be helpful if the breeze stops

-a power bank (there is NO ELECTRICITY 🔌 ON SITE).

-yoga mat for the morning yoga session (good for sleeping on too)

-air mattress for those that want e###xtra comfort.

-wet wipes are always a good idea

-a cooler for keeping things cold would be amazing.
