Hanoi was awarded as Asia's best emerging culinary city this year. Hopefully Saigon will get more recognition. With a fast growing economy and the GDP has passed $400 billion a year, we will see more high end restaurants open up in both Saigon and Hanoi.

Had this venison satay noodle soup for breakfast at To Ky. This place is known among Chinese people in the Big market as the best place for hủ tiếu sa tế nai. It has peanut creamy soup and tender venison with fat noodles.

We're a bit iffy about the pic they've used on page 10 (the best page in our opinion). The bowl in the photo is not from the pho joint we visit on tour.
