Gliding through the vibrant green rice paddies of Vietnam – where every turn feels like home. The serenity, the beauty, the heart of this land has me captivated.

Storm No. 4 is bringing strong winds (up to 74 km/h) and high waves (3-5 meters) to coastal waters from Nghệ An to Quảng Ngãi, with rough seas expected in the East Sea and southern regions. Coastal areas from Quảng Bình to Quảng Nam should prepare for storm surges and possible flooding. On land, winds will intensify in Hà Tĩnh to Quảng Nam provinces, with gusts up to 102 km/h. Heavy rainfall (100-300mm) is expected in Central Vietnam from Sept. 19-20, with potential flooding. Some tourist destinations, like Ba Na Hills and My Son Sanctuary, will be heavily impacted by the typhoon. Be sure to choose a safe time to visit these spots.

The weather in Ba Na Hills today (September 18, 2024) is quite wet and chilly. Expect heavy rain throughout the day with temperatures around 18°C. Humidity is extremely high at 99%, which, combined with strong winds reaching 34 km/h, will make it feel colder. The rainfall is also significant, so make sure to carry waterproof gear, including a raincoat and warm clothing like a heavy jacket. If you're planning to visit in the next few days, be prepared for continued rainy conditions, with similar temperatures ranging between 17°C and 22°C.
