Where is Dai Yem Waterfall?
Dai Yem waterfall also has other names such as "Nang waterfall", "Ban Vat waterfall", located in Muong La commune, Moc Chau district, Son La province. The reason the waterfall is called Dai Yem strip is because according to legend, the waterfall is the bib strip of a girl who saved a boy from the flood water. The waterfall is located about 5 km from Moc Chau district center in the direction of Highway 43 to Long Sap border gate. When you arrive at the Pa Hang border gate junction, you can go by car along the main road or you can follow the stream for about 4 km to the intersection of the two streams and you will reach Dai Yem waterfall.
Dai Yem Waterfall is located on Vat stream, originating from two streams, Bo Co Lam and Bo Ta Chau in Vat village - this is a Thai village with a very long history. Vat Stream flows about 5 km and then combines with a large stream starting from Bo Sap village (bordering the Vietnam-Laos border). At the confluence of these two streams, the water meets a limestone mountain and flows down to form a waterfall. The majestic Strip of Yem.
