SSC Vietnam Classic Scooter Tours is back! Ride of a lifetime #1 October 2022
This ride is for 15 days starting from Monday 10th and finishing on Monday 24th this coming October. We will be starting in Hanoi and riding south and finishing in Hoi An in central Vietnam. Every tour is limited to 12 riders as usual.
Dates :
2020 dates - Monday 10th October until Monday 24th October 2022
Departure point : Hanoi North Vietnam
Finishing point : Hoi An Central Vietnam - Danang is the nearest city only 20km's and this is an International airport departure options can also be either Saigon (South) or Hanoi (North)
Domestic flight either back to Hanoi or south to Saigon are cheap about $100.00usd
Price inclusive : $2950.00usd
Total distance approx 2200km's
*Note - Level of driving skill : Demanding

Classic Scooter Vespa / Lambretta - Auto option by request
Petrol and 2t oil
Accommodation - Mid+ range hotels based on 2 people sharing (When available)

Notes :
A visa is needed for most visitors over a 14 day stay. It is possible to arrange this for pick up on arrival but it's recommended to arrange in advance.
Most daily rides are 150-200km's
You cannot do the daily distance on Vietnamese roads that you can do overseas.
A 200km day drive is 6/7+ hours.
Weather can change dramatically. The mountain regions can get cold at this time of year.
Recommendations to bring are :
Small day bag to carry on the scooter
Main luggage will be in the back up truck
Currency : $usd is now not a necessary form of Payment. Local currency vnd is accepted everywhere and there are now many ATM's although a cash back up due to the holidays is advised.

Saigon Scooter Centre Tours update for 2021

As the Covid chaos continues there does seem to be some light at the end of the tunnel hopefully. Saying that with the current Vietnam flight ban and a block on tourist visa’s being issued although there are rumours of vaccinated tourists being allowed back into Vietnam this has still yet to be confirmed by the powers that be.
So taking that into account we are asking for any interested participants for a single tour we are planning for November to send us a quick email so we can include you on our mailshot. Places are limited as always and at this stage its purely for those who are interested and no deposit payment is required or commitment made. As always this tour will be 15 days and will stay with our original plan of either of the 2 options we had to cancel last year.
As usual group tours are limited to 12 riders and we are expecting places to be in demand as usual.
The 2 ride options are for our Mekong Delta 2 tour down to Phu Quoc island and back to Saigon and for our Northern Hanoi ride heading south to Hoi An in central Vietnam.

April 2021 - We are back with the Mekong Delta classic scooter tour. This is an ideal entry level tour with a more leisurely pace through the tranquil and scenic Mekong Delta southern region of Vietnam including a stop over on the beautiful Phu Quoc island. More info coming shortly.
