HANDMADE LANTERNS IN HOI AN
Nights in Hoi An Ancient Town become more mysterious with various kinds of hand-made lanterns. The lanterns are the result of exchanges among Vietnamese, Japanese and Chinese cultures, all famous for their various and specific identities. Lantern-making is associated with the tourism development of Hoi An Ancient Town.
On the 15th of every month of the lunar calendar, the town turns off its street lamps and fluorescents lights, leaving the Old Quarter bathed in the warm glow of colored silk, glass, and paper lantern.
Lanterns are made of Vietnamese silk, which is made from silkworms famous in Asia. The silk has beautiful colors and meaningful patterns. You can choose lanterns with wooden frames, some made from very precious wood, with a painting of a legend on each side of the lantern. They are all handmade from bamboo, silk, and wood. Once lighted, lanterns will illuminate with marvelous, mysterious light which will take you hundreds of years back, to times of tales and mystery.

WAR MUSEUM
Hello everyone, How are you today? It would be a great day if you were in Vietnam and visited War Museum. Here, It contains exhibits relating to the Vietnam War and the first Indochina War involving the French colonialists.
The exhibition has followed a tradition of such exhibitions intended to expose war crimes, first those of the French and then those of the Americans. Besides, The museum comprises a series of themed rooms in several buildings, with period military equipment placed within a walled yard. The military equipment includes a UH-1 "Huey" helicopter, an F-5A fighter, a BLU-82 "Daisy Cutter" bomb, M48 Patton tank, an A-1 Skyraider attack bomber, and an A-37 Dragonfly attack bomber... One building reproduces the "tiger cages" in which the South Vietnamese government kept political prisoners. Other exhibits include graphic photography, accompanied by a short text in English, Vietnamese and Japanese, covering the effects of Agent Orange and other chemical defoliant sprays, the use of na**lm and phosphorus bombs, and war atrocities such as the My Lai massacre...
The War Remnants Museum is currently one of the most popular museums in Vietnam, attracting approximately half a million visitors every year. According to the museum's own estimates, about two-thirds of these are foreigners.

VĨNH NGHIÊM PAGODA
Vĩnh Nghiêm Pagoda is a renowned building in Ho Chi Minh city and located at 339 Nam Kỳ Khởi Nghĩa Street, District 3. It was built from 1964 to 1971 when two Buddhist monks headed from North Vietnam to the south in order to spread Buddhism. This was constructed in a large area (6000 square meters) and it is the first traditionally architectural pagoda was built of concrete in Vietnam.
In the middle of the pagoda, there is a central building which has 2 floors. The ground floor is used as Buddhist classes and the upstairs is where statues of Buddha and Bodhisattva are situated.
The highlight of this famous site is its towers, especially “Quán Thế Âm” tower. It is a 7-story building (about 40m tall) which is located in the east of the pagoda. This is one of the most enormous Buddhist towers in Vietnam. Another one laid near the main gate is the first and highest stone tower in the country of Vietnam.
The pagoda is considered as one of several special Buddhist constructions in the 20th century. Along with Ngọc Hoàng Pagoda, this landmarked building is the place where most Buddhist come, visit and pray to gods for fortunes, luck, and health in Sai Gon.

It has been a long time we have not met, right Regina Maliwat Nikita C. Payuyo? How are you? We vividly remember the time we spent together traveling around Ho Chi Minh city. It was our first tour so we felt nervous and a little bit confused. However, you girls made everything different, you were so lovely and friendly that we thought that we were close friends. HON SON ISLAND
Vietnam has so many beautiful islands all over the country. Besides Phu Quoc island, Binh Ba island,... Hon Son island is also a beautiful island. It 's primitive and It hasn't been affected by business yet. If you are in Sai Gon, you can take a bus to Kien Giang province and book a ship to Hon Son. It just takes 2 hours to come here by bus. You can get up in the early morning, walk to the beach and join in pulling the net with locals. That would be a memorable experience. You can also eat seafood all day 😍😍.
