Phu Quoc Travel & Tourism

PhuQuocIslandGuide.com is a travel and tourism hub for Phu Quoc, Vietnam’s premiere resort destination. The digital guide and social platform aims to help tourists discover all the things to see on do on the 28 island archipelago, guide them on where to stay, and to connect them with ethical businesses on Phu Quoc Island.

Our Story

Like you, we were once tourists visiting Phú Quốc and were extremely frustrated with the lack of travel & tourism related information specific to the island district. There just weren't any good resources available and it made our visit to Phu Quoc less fulfilling. While on Phu Quoc Island we found plenty of maps and glossy guides, all written by so called "island experts", but these unregulated publications were more about exposing visitors to advertisements rather than help them experience and enjoy the island. There were even some businesses that called themselves “official tourist information centers” in order to lure you in, but apart from a giant map on the wall there was nothing official about them. None of these businesses provided any government certifications to validate their claims of being official as Vietnam is a communist country, and most of the individuals who created these “guides” didn’t even tour the island that they live on!
